By utilizing the accelerometer in your phone, this app enables you to detect and record seismic waves generated by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, avalanches, and other sources of seismic activity.
The graph feature presents a detailed record of ground motion at the measurement point over time. Any ground movement or object is represented along three Cartesian axes, with the z-axis perpendicular to the Earth's surface and the x- and y-axes parallel to the surface.
Detailed information on average and maximum values is tracked during measurements, along with real-time Mercalli scale descriptions. Users can customize the display to show current acceleration, XYZ, or Mercalli scale values on the main screen for quick reference.
You can also find an additional chart on the screen presenting MMI values which can be tailored to show different time spans for enhanced analysis. The ability to take screenshots of the overview allows for effortless sharing with others.
The alerts feature keeps you informed about sudden acceleration changes or seismic shocks, giving you control over which values trigger notifications through the settings screen.
The autosave function conveniently stores your data when seismic activities surpass set thresholds. Later on, you can review the saved CSV file to analyze precise measurements recorded during that period.
The history screen provides a detailed view of your saved data, including date, time, average, and maximum values. You can easily share this information as desired.
Safeguard your data using our cloud services by creating accounts to securely store and access data across different devices via social media accounts or email.
The app is now compatible with Wear OS devices, allowing users to control measurements seamlessly from their watch without interfering with their phone use.
